SINGAPORE: The first region in Tengah to be dispatched by the Housing and Development Board (HDB) will mirror the agrarian underlying foundations of the zone, with network gardens and farming features.

HDB will include a 700-meter by 40-meter stretch of land called the Plantation Farmway as one of the key features. This will weave through housing precincts, serving as a green connector to link inhabitants to other key offices, for example, the town community .Planners will position void decks to face the greenery.
The Farmway will include around 2,000 sq m of room for network gardening and farming. HDB said there is potential for a farmers’ market for inhabitants to sell their own produce. Designers will build jungle gyms inspired by leafy vegetables to match the overall plantation theme.

HDB will create water features in the area to attract birds, butterflies, and dragonflies. Thus, it will help to control the mosquito population.

TWO MRT STATIONS, CYCLE PATHS – Farm features
To support Tengah’s vision as a “car-lite” town, the Housing and Development Board will build two MRT stations along the future Jurong Region Line in the Plantation District, connecting residents to Jurong East, Choa Chu Kang, and Boon Lay.HDB plans to build additional MRT stations throughout the town. Most bus stops will also be within 300 meters of residents’ homes.
To make it simpler for inhabitants to cycle, all streets in the locale will highlight cycling ways that are 2m wide. HDB will equip Tengah as the first town with smart technologies integrated throughout from the start.
Another upcoming Garden Home Of the City is Normanton Park Condo.
Across the entire Tengah town, there will be features, for example, savvy lighting and frameworks. Therefore, it helps to gather rainwater for the water system and to wash basic regions.
